My friend and talented actor/dancer, Adam, as looking for a painting for his new apartment. He came to my studio and I gave him a pile of drawings to look for something he liked and this sketch caught his eye.
I had a nice 3 x 4 foot canvass and went to see Adam’s wall space/decor. His furniture and other artwork was mainly black and white, so I kept it simple. I projected the drawing onto the canvass, streamlined it a little, and did a double-image starting with silver. Here is the finished piece.
The Painting was completed in January 2008.
