Ebb and flow.

So, some good things some bad have been happening in the past months. First, the bad: my computer is sick and has many images on it. Please bear with me while I cobble together some updates and take new pictures as much as possible.

Magazine submission: Last fall I entered a late call from a literary magazine for cover submissions. I didn’t make the cut but enjoyed making this piece which is mostly acrylic and ink on paper.

A couple of friends of mine publish a cool ‘zine about terrible movies a couple of times a year(see/purchase here). In the latest issue, I made a couple of illustrations for a hilarious article about Gigli.

Ah, good times.

Here are two pieces I made for some friends’ apartment. The first piece is gesso, charcoal, acrylic, and ink on paper. The diptych is spray paint, markers, acrylic, ink, gesso, and gouache on heavy matte board.

An old canvas I started a couple of years ago is making a comeback. Here are a few steps and I have more progress to post soon.

Over New Year’s Eve, I helped The Grey Market with an installation as part of a show to ring in 2010. We converted a dance studio into a new enviroment.

Take care, I’ll post more as I find/recover/make it!
